Winnipeg Stand-Up Comedy Shows

The Adobo Premiere: The Second Serving is a Filipino-based comedy show starring some of the baddest stand-up killers on the mic today. We’re bringing the flavor in celebration of Canadian Filipino Heritage Month with some Filipino Americans and Canadians.— and yes, it’s Filipino based but built for everybody who loves to laugh.

Keith Pedro is leading the charge — Juno Award nominee for Comedy Album of the Year, Canadian Screen Award nominee for his three seasons on Roast Battles Canada, and a regular at Just For Laughs, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and Halifax Comedy Festival. He’s currently in the middle of a massive 36-city North American tour, but he’s pulling up to Winnipeg because… he loves you. (And maybe he misses Filipino barbecue.

Joining him is Wilfred Padua — a Seattle native now crushing it in New York City. Wilfred’s been featured on Don’t Tell Comedy, ABC, NPR, and SiriusXM, and Thrillist named him one of the 50 Best Undiscovered Comedians in America. He also won the Boston Comedy Festival — which is a huge deal even if he’s too chill to brag about it.

And Mikey Perry rounds out the squad — a Marine Corps vet straight outta Virginia Beach. Mikey came up in the competitive San Diego comedy scene and now he’s a regular at Mic Drop Comedy clubs across the Southwest. He’s performed all over the U.S., Mexico, and even for the troops. You’ve seen him at Palm Springs, Burbank, and Big Pine Comedy Festivals — and he’s the creator of the sold-out hit variety show “Ube World.” His life stories about growing up Filipino, military chaos, and mixed-race madness are hilarious and slightly concerning.

This show is for everybody — Filipino, non-Filipino, half-Filipino, or just Filipino at heart. If you love good food, good jokes, and bad decisions — this is your spot.
