Tim Steeves

Tim is one of Canada’s top comedic talents, both as a stand up and comedy writer.  He has written on two of Canada’s longest running comedy series – five seasons on This Hour Has 22 Minutes (CBC), and all 15  seasons on The Rick Mercer Report (CBC).  Tim was one of the creators of the top Canadian comedy special in Canadian history “Talking to American’s” starring Rick Mercer.  Between the two shows, Tim has won four Gemini Awards and three Canadian Screen Awards for best comedic writing.  As well as numerous Writers’ Guild Awards, Canadian Comedy Awards and an International Emmy Award nomination.   Tim has had many projects in development including The Tim Steeves Show with Bell Media, where he was the show runner and executive producer.  Tim’s comedy specials include, Comedy Now (CTV and The Comedy Network) and Comics! (CBC), for which he was nominated for a Gemini Award. Four gala performances at the Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal. Many Canadians know Tim from his TV work, as a co-star on The Bette Show (CBC) and as the host of the sports trivia show Game On (Global) and the raucous male chat show Real Men (Global). Nick Beaton

From a blue-collar background, Nick Beaton cuts through the bullshit of an overly bureaucratic society that takes itself way too seriously. Whether it’s done through his opinionated rants, hard-hitting jokes, or his disarming "every man" personality Nick Beaton is a favourite wherever he performs.  He has performed on 4 continents, 7 countries, and over 40 cities.  His run at the Edinburgh Festival received glowing five star reviews, from both “Broadway Baby” and “Three Weeks,” the latter of which described him as having, “enviable confidence, timing, and manner of a comedian with decades of experience beyond his years.”  Nick wrote for the hit show on CTV, Spun Out staring Dave Foley was a panellist on Match Game and was featured on CBC's The Debaters.  He has performed at Montreal’s International Just For Laughs Comedy Festival three times, as well as the Halifax Comedy Festival, the Moncton Comedy Festival, the Sudbury Comedy Festival and the Icebreakers Comedy Festival.  He has received numerous accolades for his comedy, including winning the 2007 Just For Laughs Toronto Home-grown Competition, and being nominated for two Canadian Comedy Awards, including one for his comedy special, “Comedy Now!” that aired nationally in Canada. Scott Faulconbridge

Scott Faulconbridge has delighted International audiences with his masterful timing, quirky story telling and quick improvisational wit to established himself as one of Canada's headlining acts. His unique stories and songs are inspired by family mishaps that have made him a crowd favourite for three decades. His work has earned him three Canadian Comedy Award nominations for his work as an Improviser and a stand up comedian. Nationally, he has toured theatres coast to coast in both the Just For Laughs Tour ,The Investors Group National tour and opened for Howie Mandell at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. His stories, jokes and emotional outbursts and have been heard on CBC radio for shows such as The Debaters, LOL, and Day 6. He has written for CBC's Still Standing and has been seen on numerous televised comedy specials including CTV's Comedy Now, CBC 's Comics, The Winnipeg Comedy Festival, The Halifax Comedy Festival and the internationally acclaimed Just For Laughs Festival. In the United States he has toured colleges and headlined the legendary Las Vegas The Riviera comedy club. Jeff McEnery

Jeff McEnery won the prestigious "Tim Sims Encouragement Award" in 2005, "Yuk Yuk's Great Canadian Laugh Off" in 2006 and was named “Best Stand-Up Newcomer” at the 2007 Canadian Comedy Awards. Since then Jeff has gone on to become a headliner for Yuk Yuk’s and has made multiple appearances at every major Canadian comedy festival including the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, Winnipeg Comedy Festival and Halifax Comedy Festival. Jeff's Comedy Now! stand-up special was broadcast on CTV in 2011. In 2015, he was nominated for 'Best Male Stand-Up' at the Canadian Comedy Awards and released his first solo comedy CD "Sunset Acres."   As an actor, Jeff had a lead role in the critically acclaimed drama Dog Pound. He was also a cast member on the Comedy Network’s sketch series Hotbox and has made guest appearances on Letterkenny, Covert Affairs, The Jon Dore Television Show and Naturally Sadie. Jeff's short film Behind the Funny has aired nationally on The Comedy Network and he is currently a writer for the CBC's hit show Still Standing. View Full Bio

Alex Pavone

The high-energy, take-no-prisoners, comedy of Alex Pavone is not to be missed. A super-honest storyteller, Alex uses his Italian background and colourful acquaintances to weave a laugh-filled web of comic excitement.

Born and raised in Woodbridge, Ontario, Pavone has been making crowds laugh since 2007. Alex has been featured on CBC, MuchMusic and SiriusXM radio. He has performed at festivals like the HUBCAP Comedy Festival, LOL Sudbury, JFL42 and Montreal's Just For Laughs, as well as historic venues such as the Danforth Music Hall and Massey Hall on New Years Eve. Alex has performed at comedy clubs and colleges all over North America and moved to New York City in 2014. He has worked with some of the biggest names in the business and has opened for Bobby Lee and Bill Burr.  But Alex Pavone needs to be seen to be believed.
