Shannon Laverty

Shannon Laverty is a veteran stand-up comic hailing from the plains of Saskatchewan. She is a five-time nominee for the Canadian Comedy Award and was voted top host by Glenn Sumi in NOW Magazine. Shannon has performed across Canada and South Africa, as well as in Germany, the Dominican Republic, and the United States. Laverty was thrilled to collaborate with Dana Carvey and Louis C.K. One unforgettable show at Massey Hall in Toronto on New Year's Eve, where she performed alongside Robert Klein. She is a featured performer on A Little Sketchy TV (NTD TV) and can also be heard on Sirius XM channels: Just for Laughs Canada, Raw Dog, and She's So Funny in the USA. Shannon's additional TV and radio credits include Laugh Out Loud (CBC Radio), Winnipeg Comedy Fest (CBC), Listed (Much More Music), Club 54, and The Movie Network's pay-per-view comedy special "Mondo Taboo 2, " as well as She's So Funny and Funny Girls on WTN, and Comics (CBC). Shannon has also graced numerous comedy festivals, including the Winnipeg, JFL42 YYC Festival, Sudbury LOL, Ice Breaker Fest, and the Molson Canadian Toronto Comedy Festival.
