Halifax Stand-Up Comedy Shows

Originally from Thunder Bay, Bobby Knauff moved to Toronto in 2006 to pursue comedy. He attended the Humber School of Comedy where he received the Brian Linehan award for artistic promise. Bobby has performed on The Fresh Meat Showcase at The Second City, NXNE Music & Comedy Fest, JFL42, was a semi finalist in SiriusXM Canada’s Next Top Comic (2013), won the 2012 Toronto Comedy Brawl, has had numerous appearances on Much Music and MTV Canada and has toured across Canada headlining with Yuk Yuks. In May, 2020 Bobby put out his first album “Rock Bottom”, widely played on satellite radio and available everywhere.

Bobby can also be seen in many commercials, guest roles on television and can be heard as a voice actor in numerous cartoons. He is also one half of the sketch duo “The Two Sues” with Josh Stone, and is a puppeteer with his puppet buddy Andre. Bobby now resides in Ottawa, enjoys talking about his minor accomplishments in the third person and also enjoys the company of cats over people. View Full Bio

Cedric was born in Jamaica, raised in Montreal and now calls Toronto home.

A long serving professional who’s graced stages across Canada and throughout Europe. He doesn’t stop there…he’s participated in radio shows, festivals, fundraisers and corporate events to name a few. He’s had the pleasure of working with some of the industries big names such as Russel Peters, Shaun Majunder and Gerry Dee.

Acadian by birth, Julien Dionne began his career performing stand-up in comedy clubs across New York and from coast to coast in Canada. During this 15-year period, he made a name for himself in the industry and was nominated for “Best Breakout Artist” at the Canadian Comedy Awards.

For the past four years, Julien has been building his career in French, his mother tongue. Just some of his performances include at Mehdi Bousaidan’s Juste pour Rire gala in 2020, at the D’un rire à l’autre galas and ComediHa!’s Trait d’Humour from 2018 to 2021 (available on unis.tv).
