Halifax Stand-Up Comedy Shows

Since her comedy debut in 2006 Eman El-Husseini has racked up an impressive list of credits. Travelling across Canada, the U.S and the Middle East she covers a wide range of topics, from how lesbians are the new gentlemen to her parents’ wedding anniversary landing on, you guessed it, September 11th.

A media darling of sorts, Eman has been featured in major Canadian newspapers such as The National Post, The Toronto Star and The Montreal Gazette. Roy Daye is a Jamaican born, Canadian raised stand-up comic whose styling reflects both his North American upbringing and his spicy Caribbean heritage.
His show is engaging, quick and smart.

His material is cleverly clean or artfully crass but he likes to chat and has a real way with an audience that likes to chat back! He has audiences laughing in the aisles and loving his interactive approach. He is adept at making sharp and funny observations based on conversations with his audience. He was also selected among the "Best of Fest" at Big Pine Comedy Festival in Flagstaff, Arizona and recently headlined shows all across Scotland. After training with The Groundlings in Hollywood, Garrett has landed countless TV spots and earned roles in award winning short films.
