Dewey Parker

Dewey Parker may be the smoothest comedian you'll see in your lifetime. The current titleholder of “Winnipeg’s Funniest Person with a Day Job,” Dewey began performing standup and improv comedy in Shanghai, China, where he became a local fan favourite for his likeable nature, original humour, and energetic, memorable performances. He headlined sold-out standup shows around China, hosted a weekly open mic and weekend showcase, and performed improv comedy with two teams: Empire Improv, and the People's Republic of Comedy. Now, Dewey has returned to his home in Winnipeg to continue his silliness. Thank goodness all his jokes are in English! He has performed at Rumor’s Comedy Club, Yuk Yuk’s, Don’t Tell Comedy, the Winnipeg Fringe Festival and Winnipeg Comedy Showcase. He also performs as part of Tectonic Improv, which recently won the Winn-City Improv Cage Match.
