A product of clashing cultures and modern chaos, Abdullah’s authentic yet lively humor has placed him among the most promising young comics in the country. He is a writer on the critically acclaimed tv show This Hour Has 22 Minutes, and a nationally touring crowd-favourite act. Abdullah won the title of “Ottawa’s Top Comic” in 2019, and since then he has been featured on CBC's Inside Comedy (CBC TV, Gem), Just For Laughs Toronto, CBC Radio, and the Arctic Comedy Festival. His humor is drawn from his tales as a Pakistani immigrant, his experiences as a reluctant Gen-Zer, and his goofy societal observations – all wrapped in an engaging stage presence and peppered with crowd interactions.
