Funny As Puck Ottawa

Brian Patafie the son of a military father grew up in Nova Scotia at Canadian Forces Base Greenwood. Years later following his University graduation he ventured out for the next 44 years working as an athletic trainer in the professional hockey industry including a four year stint in the NHL with the Calgary Flames from 1994 to 1998. After retiring from the game in 2021 Brian has been chasing his passion for standup comedy and since then he has been performing in clubs, theatres and casino showrooms all across North America and in the United Kingdom. On Saturday December 8th  Brian along with his cousin Chris Connolly and Ottawa's Chad Noonan will take to the stage at Yuk Yuk's here in Ottawa for the Christmas edition of his FUNNY AS PUCK show, ninety minutes of continuous laughter about his hilarious life experiences both during his dysfunctional adolescents and  while working in professional hockey. Brian's stories talk about "filling in as a Russian interpreter" with absolutely no grasp of the Russian language as well as Calgary Flames GM Doug Risebrough's reaction when he seen the clip of that fiasco on TSN later that evening following a one sided loss to the Detroit Red Wings (WARNING excessive blue language is quoted in this and many other pro hockey stories)
