Pardis Parker

Pardis Parker is a corespondent and writer for CBC's This Hour Has 22 Minutes in Canada, a frequent guest on Comedy Central's @midnight in the US, and the creator and star of Comedy Central's hit new digital series, Mideast Minute. As a writer/director he's earned distinctions from the likes of Disney-ABC, NBCUniversal, the Toronto International Film Festival, Athens International Film Festival, Montreal's Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, Boston Comedy Festival, Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, Canadian Comedy Awards, and National Screen Institute of Canada. As a comedian he's performed at comedy clubs and comedy festivals across Canada, the United States, and England. And as an actor he's appeared on shows for ABC, CBS, CBC, Showcase, Family Channel, Comedy Central, and others. Raised in Nova Scotia, he's a six-time Canadian Comedy Award nominee and currently resides in Los Angeles, where he's a regular performer at the Hollywood Improv, Hollywood Laugh Factory, and World Famous Comedy Store.
