Kyra Williams - Vice President

Kyra has been in the comedy and entertainment field for over 20 years. Currently, she is the Vice President of Operations for Yuk Yuk's Comedy Clubs - the largest comedy chain in Canada with 14 clubs across Canada (and always growing)! In addition, she is the Co-Producer of the Icebreakers Comedy Festival, the best live comedy festival held annually in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Kyra has been producing live comedy since 2005. Most notably, from 2011 to the present, she is the Producer of the Canadian Comedy Awards Festival which has consisted of over four days of 30+ comedy shows, galas, special seminars, family entertainment, awards show and of course, parties. She was the Executive Producer of the Yuk Yuk's Comedy Podcast for it's entire run in 2016-2017 - getting you get up close and personal with some of the biggest Canadian comedians, as well as the up and comers. From Nov 2011-March 2013, she was the Co-Producer of Comedy at 51 at the Second City which got great praise from comics across Canada. She was also Co-Producing a live streaming comedy festival, StreamFest, in the spring of 2013 - a live-streaming festival that brings live Canadian comedy to the World Wide Web audience - the first of it's kind in Toronto. In 2018 she co-produced Canned Laughter – a cross city simultaneous comedy show at 14 different venues in support of the Daily Bread Food Bank. In addition to live comedy, she produced the web series Sweet Jayne and was on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Comedy Awards Foundation for Excellence for 2 terms. Needless to say, she watches a lot of comedy!

As well as a comedy producer, Kyra was an actor and sketch comedian. Her sketch troupe Shoeless was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award in 2009 for Best Sketch Troupe. Credits include: sketch comedy festivals in Toronto, Montreal and Chicago, two times at Toronto’s Just For Laughs festival, SketchCom Headline Series & more.
