Stacey was born in Switzerland and moved to Canada when she was five where she grew up in Ottawa Ontario. She attended high school at Elmwood School for girls and from there graduated with a fine Arts degree from Heritage College. She tried many different programs at University including communications at the University of Ottawa, Business at Wilfred Laurier in Waterloo, Ontario before settling on film at Carlton University in Ottawa. There is no questions Arts and Entertainment was her calling.
After working at an International Consulting group based in Ottawa Stacey needed to get back to the arts. She joined the Yuk Yuk’s team in 1992 working days in the office learning the behind the scenes and evening in the club as assistant manager. Once she learned all she could from the Yuk Yuk’s club in Ottawa, she made the move to head office located in Toronto in 2004.
After three years with the head office she was promoted to Vice President of Funny Business Inc. and Yuk Yuk’s On Tour. Her duties include overseeing the day to day working of Funny Business Inc. and Yuk Yuk’s On Tour nationally, consisting of eight full time agents from cost to cost and over 150 of the very best of Canada’s comedic talent.
Old habits die hard so Stacey's evenings are often spent at one of the many Yuk Yuk’s clubs across the country where she keeps up with the ever changing comedy world.
