In 2001, Shannon moved to Toronto and became a business Sales associate for Dell Computers, where she became a 100K award winner for exemplary sales. However, Shannon missed the entertainment industry and soon moved over to the Casting Workbook, an online company which is committed to updating the functionality of Casting Directors, Talent agents and Actors across North America. Shannon ran their East Coast operations until 2003, where she made a move to Yuk Yuk’s International. During this time Shannon became interested in film, writing, directing and producing many short films with a production company, and writing two feature films in her spare time.
Since 2003, Shannon has worked closely with Mark Breslin and Jeff Silverman to oversea all club operations as Vice President of Yuk Yuk’s International. Shannon also produces the Yuk Yuk’s Great Canadian Laugh off; a one hour special for the Comedy Network which gives out a prize of $25,000 to the funniest comic.
